The Mormon Asexual

Another Sunday to have gotten through, and only by the skin of my teeth. You now, im really hoping that this isn’t sounding like a rant about “asexual Mormon problems,” but contrary to popular belief they are a real thing. I mean, in what other religion would it be more okay to be gay than asexual. At least then they would actively support not getting married and having sex.

Instead I am constantly reminded that I will never get to heaven since I will not get married. Why do people have to assume that something is wrong with you because you don’t want sex. To me, that’s normal.

The only way I would ever consider it would be to marry another asexual Mormon. Then it would be like a roommate arrangement. I do plan on having a child, just not in the natural way. That would also be something to go over as well. Oy.
